About Us
The Carlos & Dominguez Fine Arts Gallery was established in 2005. It exhibits and promotes artists from North, Central, and South America, in all media, including paintings, sculpture, photography and mixed media. It is located in the Arts District of the Pilsen area in Chicago.
Len Dominguez
Len Dominguez founded and edited NIT & WIT Literary Arts Magazine, which for eight years, published poetry, short stories, art, photography, and articles about music, theater, dance, art, film, and books. He began collecting art at this time.
He hosted an Open Mic series for five years, featuring poets, story tellers, and singer-songwriters. He wrote the original Arts Policy for the Chicago Public Schools, and currently directs the Carlos & Dominguez Fine Arts Gallery in Pilsen. |
Patricia Carlos Dominguez
For the last 20 years, as a writer, director, and producer, Patricia Carlos Dominguez has written and produced original works of Children’s Theater, and has brought important works of theater for adults from Mexico to Chicago.
She also designs and presents numerous workshops, based on the culture and traditions of Mexico, to children, teachers, and parents. She received her B.A. Degree in Romance Languages from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her M.A. degree in Spanish Literature from Roosevelt University in Chicago. |
